Qualifications

• Must hold a current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APP in Kentucky.
• National certification from the appropriate national certifying agency for the APP.
• BLS required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS as required for position.
• Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited APP program; terminal degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of a physician-led team.
• Function autonomously and collaborate with other health professionals to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Influence health care decisions through expert clinical reasoning, research, and theory-based practice.
