The APC functions autonomously and collaborates with other health professionals to provide high quality, cost effective care to patients, manages health care systems and influence health care decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and accredited APC program required.
- National certification from the appropriate agency for APC.
- Must maintain national certification.
- Unrestricted license to practice as an APC in Kentucky.
- BLS (BCLS) required through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS as required for position.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as part of the physician-led team.
- Collaborate with health professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Contribute to cost-effective care and clinical decision-making.
