Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality patient care in Elizabethtown, KY. The APP will work within a physician-led team, providing autonomous care while coordinating with other health professionals to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include procedures as needed, pediatric experience preferred, and adherence to licensure and certification requirements. Part-time schedule and no on-call duties are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and accredited APP program completed.
• National certification for the APP.
• Must maintain national certification.
• Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APP in Kentucky.
• BCLS required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS as required for position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of physician-led team.
• Autonomous practice with collaboration across health professionals.
• Adhere to State Law and Medical Staff privileges.
• Contribute to cost-effective care and clinical decision-making.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + accredited APP program

National certification for APP

KY APP license

BCLS certification (American Heart Association)

ACLS as required

Terminal degree in APP field (preferred)
