ManpowerGroup in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the SW HIL team. You will support the build, maintenance and troubleshooting of simulation test assets, helping ensure test infrastructure operates predictably.

The role requires knowledge of CAN bus networks, Linux, and common tools like JIRA/Confluence. You will configure test platforms, assemble systems, and maintain thorough documentation for repeatable setups.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive CAN bus networks.
• Experience using Linux and running scripts.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Proficiency using a digital multimeter and oscilloscope.
• Ability to read electrical schematics with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and track configurations of test platforms to keep systems aligned and ready for validation work.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware to restore reliable operation quickly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues across test assets and supporting systems.
• Build and repair harnesses based on electrical diagrams, ensuring correct wiring and safe, repeatable setups.
• Assemble, install, and configure computers and install vehicle system components into server racks, including networking infrastructure buildout.
