Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Engineering Technician for our autonomous mobility client in Foster City, CA. The role focuses on electrical integration lab testing, wiring harnesses, PCBAs, and mechatronics instrumentation to ensure reliable vehicle systems.

You will collaborate with EE, Powertrain, Body, and Chassis teams, maintain lab readiness, and support automated test setups and data collection. A bachelor’s or technical degree and 4–6 years of lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or technical degree required.
• 4–6 years of lab experience including mechanical fabrication like wiring harnesses and test fixtures.
• Strong soldering skills and hands-on PCBA rework experience.
• Experience with automotive development environments and test equipment.
• Familiarity with Python scripts and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute electrical integration lab tests on vehicle components per procedures.
• Build test fixtures, wiring harnesses, and test circuits; install instrumentation per diagrams.
• Manufacture PC BAs and assemble components for in-circuit and functional testing.
• Serve as primary contact for the mechatronics lab, including maintenance and consumables.
• Support automation engineers with ad-hoc test equipment and data acquisition needs.
