Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Market Operations Lead for the San Francisco Bay Area to own the end-to-end performance of the SFBA ride-hail operations, ensuring a safe, reliable and high-quality autonomous service that builds rider trust.

This hybrid role reports to the Head of Market Operations - West and requires leading cross-functional teams to deliver market-ready launches, optimize depot readiness and fleet utilization, and drive profitable growth across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or MBA degree required.
• Proven ability to develop and execute market strategies.
• Experience leading complex operations and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SFBA ride-hail performance and driver experience.
• Lead market readiness and go/no-go reviews for expansions.
• Oversee depot readiness, fleet flow, and utilization to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Policy to remove blockers and meet SLAs.
• Monitor real-time supply/demand and adjust fleet allocation and zones.
