Job summary

Uber is seeking a Program Leader, AV Enablement in Phoenix, AZ to define and drive enablement strategies for a fast-growing AV portfolio. You will partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into scalable capability solutions that improve operations, customer experience, and readiness.

The role requires AV domain knowledge, cross-functional leadership, and experience building and scaling enterprise enablement programs globally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Enablement, Learning & Development, Quality, Talent Development, Program Management, Consulting, or related fields.
8+ years of experience in Enablement, Learning & Development, Quality, Talent Development, Program Management, Consulting, or related fields.
2+ years of Experience in working in the AV industry.
3+ years of experience establishing new programs and building high-performing teams from scratch.
Experience managing a global portfolio of 5+ concurrent enablement/quality initiatives across multiple regions.
Demonstrated ability presenting to Director- and VP-level executives.
Experience leveraging executive-facing dashboards using BI tools to connect enablement investments to ROI.
2+ years of practical experience selecting, deploying, or managing AI-powered enablement technology.

Responsibilities

Own the enablement (L&D and Quality) strategy and roadmap for a strategic business portfolio.
Translate business strategy into scalable capability-building initiatives.
Apply AV domain expertise to anticipate launch, scaling, safety, and customer-support risks.
Anticipate future capability needs and shape enablement investments.
Establish enterprise Quality frameworks, governance models, and operating standards.
Drive continuous improvement by integrating learning, quality insights, and performance data.
Serve as the primary Enablement partner for senior business leaders.
Build trusted relationships across Operations, Product, CX, PMO, and other functions.
Influence strategic decisions through data-driven recommendations and insights.
Present business reviews, quality trends, and strategic recommendations to executives.
Own a portfolio of complex global Enablement and Quality initiatives from strategy through execution.
Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer experience, and compliance.
Ensure programs are delivered on time and within scope; achieve measurable outcomes.
Balance investments across learning transformation, quality programs, process improvement, and AI adoption.
Design and evolve enterprise Quality programs with governance, calibration, and KPIs.
Lead quality calibration across regions, vendors, and teams.
Drive root cause analysis and systemic improvements with Ops, Product, and Learning teams.
Ensure quality standards support regulatory and policy requirements.
Build Voice of Customer and Voice of Business feedback loops.
Oversee AI-assisted evaluations, speech analytics, and predictive quality models.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Enablement Program Specialist(s).
Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Provide strategic direction while enabling autonomy and growth.
Drive modern enablement approaches that are scalable and data-driven.
Champion AI-enabled learning and AI-powered quality management.
Integrate Quality insights into learning strategies to close gaps.
Ensure learning experiences close capability gaps and align with priorities.
Drive adoption of Learning Platforms, Knowledge Management, Quality platforms, and AI-enabled ecosystems.
Establish success metrics and dashboards; demonstrate ROI.
Develop executive dashboards linking enablement to performance.
