Job summary

Solidus Resources in Nevada is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team maintaining mobile equipment at an autonomous gold mining operation. This hands-on leadership role requires regular time in the shop and field to provide technical guidance, set priorities, and hold the team accountable for safety, performance, and operational KPIs.

The supervisor oversees maintenance across drills, shovels, haul trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, light vehicles, and auxiliary equipment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of mobile equipment maintenance experience, preferably in open-pit mining.
• Experience as lead person, foreman, supervisor, or maintenance planner with leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and OEM troubleshooting practices.
• Experience using CMMS to review work orders, backlog, and downtime.
• MSHA regulations, lockout/tagout, and equipment-isolation knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile maintenance team during shifts, providing direction and technical guidance.
• Oversee maintenance activities across the production and support fleet.
• Maintain a regular presence in shop and field to support staff and resolve issues.
• Prioritize work and coordinate with maintenance control and other departments.
• Manage KPIs, deliverables, and safety records with accountability.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, site safety requirements, and isolation procedures.
• Support autonomous operating-zone training and train-the-trainer activities.
• Maintain shift handovers, equipment-status updates, and repair documentation.
