Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marine or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Active USCG license with STCW endorsement as OIC of Engineering Watch.
- Experience maintaining marine propulsion, electrical, or mechanical systems on vessels.
Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on USV propulsion, electrical, hydraulic, and hull systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software‑interfaced faults and support repairs to maintain mission readiness.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑mission inspections to verify system integrity and safety.
- Maintain logs and configuration records per class society guidance and DoD standards.
- Coordinate with operators on safety, range compliance, and maintenance test runs.
- Develop maintenance SOPs, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
