Job summary

Saronic Technologies Inc. seeks a Senior Sustainment Engineer to own propulsion, electrical, hydraulic, and hull systems for Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel platforms. You will diagnose faults in the field, mentor technicians, and lead training for military personnel to sustain platforms long-term.

Strong marine engineering background and autonomous systems experience are required. You will coordinate with operators, product, and engineering teams, drive reliability improvements from field data,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field, or equivalent operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance on propulsion, electrical, hydraulic, and hull systems in shore-based and forward-deployed environments.
• Independently diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults and lead repairs to restore mission readiness.
• Conduct and oversee pre- and post-mission inspections for system integrity and safety.
• Maintain maintenance logs, technical records, and configuration status per standards.
• Lead spare parts inventory management and OEM/vendor coordination for critical components.
• Author and maintain maintenance SOPs, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
