Job summary

Integer Technologies, LLC. is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to build digital models for unmanned, autonomous submersible systems.

You will craft modeling environments to demonstrate new autonomy capabilities and contribute to long-term subsea data intelligence research programs. You will collaborate with colleagues to translate sensor and machinery data into actionable, mission-level information for autonomous decision making at the edge and to support real-time environmental

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in modeling/simulation.
Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with physics-based modeling and research-grade M&S tools for assessment of novel technology.
Experience with numerical methods and scientific software development in Python, C++, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

Modeling and simulation for submersible systems, with emphasis on platform and sensor modeling.
Develop modeling and simulation frameworks for virtual environments prior to deployment on physical systems.
Contribute to industry-academia R&D projects on autonomous maritime systems.
Develop strategies balancing speed, cost, and value of approaches per project objectives.
Engage with partners to understand needs and elicit requirements.
Collaborate with software and business teams to create new products using modeling insights.
