Job summary

Integer Technologies is seeking a modeling and simulation engineer to develop, maintain, and tune multi-degree-of-freedom models for marine and robotic platforms. You will support performance prediction, controls development, and framework creation, using physics-based modeling and CFD techniques.

The role requires software development experience and the ability to lead model through full design lifecycle, collaborating across disciplines to connect dynamics with power, energy, and cyber models.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a technical field
• Experience with physics-based modeling, numerical simulation, and CFD
• Strong software development background across lifecycle stages
• Ability to determine modeling approaches based on use cases and system requirements
• US DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance
• Develop, maintain, and tune multi-degree-of-freedom models for complex systems
• Use models for performance prediction, controls development, and simulation framework creation
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to connect marine craft dynamics to other domains
• Dashboarding/storyboarding to translate data into system insights and business value
• Manage full design lifecycle: planning, implementation, validation, data processing, integration
