Job summary

Medra is seeking a hands‑on Lab Technician to run scheduled experiments and monitor automated runs, ensuring continuous platform productivity in our San Francisco lab.

You will support antibody screening workflows end to end, operate liquid handlers and instrumentation, and follow SOPs with precise data capture and metadata. Night/weekend shifts may be required. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and quick troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with hands‑on lab experience.
• Willingness to work night and/or weekend shifts on a regular basis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and reliable follow‑through; you run the same step the same way every time.

Responsibilities

• Run scheduled experiments and monitor automated runs to keep the platform productive.
• Support antibody screening workflows end to end, including prep, assembly, purification, and QC steps.
• Operate lab instruments and ensure SOPs are followed; document data and results clearly.
• Maintain lab readiness: restock consumables, manage sample custody, and adhere to BSL‑2 and EHS practices.
