Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking an RN with strong pulmonary procedural experience to join the Interventional Pulmonology team. You will assist in bronchoscopy, EBUS, and other pulmonary procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings.

A California RN license and BLS/ACLS are required, with ART commitment within six months. The role demands critical thinking, empathy, and excellent communication in a fast-paced environment, with potential cross-functional collaboration with anesthesiology

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN License issued by the State of California.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six months.
• Minimum two years of demonstrated recent nursing experience in Pulmonary Special Procedures/Interventional Pulmonology or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with special pulmonary procedures in inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings.
• Support bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonary procedures including EBUS and navigation bronchoscopy.
• Occasionally serve as OR circulator or scrub; observe sterile techniques.
