Job summary

Advantage Home Care in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Home Care Nurse to evaluate and treat patients using current technology, coordinating with physicians to set up the initial care plan.

The role offers a consistent caseload, opportunities for professional growth, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have RN licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license for patient visits.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of assignment.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documents allowing multi-state practice where applicable.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with no recent DUIs or suspensions.
• Excellent customer care and communication skills.
• Ability to self-manage online HR services and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using current technology and practices.
• Communicate with the physician to decide the initial plan of care based on assessment and orders.
• Be provided with a consistent case load.
• Participate in clinical outcomes monitoring, follow up and agency performance improvement initiatives.
• Spend time with patients and make a difference in their lives.
• Manage and educate Home Health Aides and LPNs in implementing nursing services.
• Gain experience working with a multi-disciplinary team and personal patient interaction.
• Have flexibility in your work schedule and autonomy in patient assessment.
