Qualifications

• NYS Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of transportation design and project management experience.
• Working knowledge of NYSDOT Locally Administered Federal Aid processes and NYSDOT standards.
• Proficiency guiding a team using MicroStation, OpenRoads, and/or Civil 3D.
• Leads with a people-first mindset and hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design production from concept through PS&E on roadway and transportation projects.
• Own scope, schedule, budget, and resourcing decisions across an active project portfolio.
• Mentor and develop junior, mid-level, and senior engineers.
• Serve as QA/QC checkpoint on engineering deliverables.
• Build and maintain client relationships across public-sector transportation work, with involvement in proposals and go/no-go decisions.
• Represent the firm within regional engineering organizations and at industry conferences.
