Job summary

Skydio is seeking an Operations Program Manager Intern to join our Hardware team and support the development of the next generation of autonomous flight technology. You will work with technical operations program managers and cross-functional partners to coordinate hardware development programs from design through testing, manufacturing, launch, and sustaining.

This internship offers hands-on experience managing complex projects, identifying risks, and helping engineering teams stay aligned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
• Interest in hardware product development, robotics, consumer electronics, automotive systems, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and details.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset for problem solving and decision making.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to take ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional hardware development programs spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, testing, and other teams.
• Help develop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, and action-item trackers.
• Coordinate engineering builds, test readiness, supplier activities, and other critical product-development efforts.
• Track program progress, identify potential risks or blockers, and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Prepare clear, concise program updates and keep cross-functional teams aligned around priorities and milestones.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, document decisions, and follow up with owners to drive actions to completion.
• Analyze program data and help create tools, dashboards, or processes to improve visibility and team efficiency.
• Take ownership of a scoped program or operational improvement project during the internship.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, business, or related field
