Job summary

Skydio is seeking an Operations Program Manager Intern to join its Hardware team and support the development of the next generation of autonomous flight technology. You will coordinate hardware development programs from early design through testing, manufacturing, launch, and sustaining, working with cross-functional partners to keep milestones aligned.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
  • Interest in hardware product development, robotics, consumer electronics, automotive systems, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and details.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical and comfortable using data to understand problems and inform decisions.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking questions, and learning new technical concepts.
  • Experience with project management, engineering projects, manufacturing, robotics teams, internships, or student organizations is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate hardware development programs from early design through testing, manufacturing, launch, and sustaining.
  • Work with technical operations program managers and cross-functional partners to keep milestones aligned.
  • Help engineering teams stay focused on critical milestones and risk mitigation.
