Job summary

ParchedHospitalityGroup in New York City seeks an experienced General Manager to lead one NYC venue with ownership over the business. You will direct service, staffing, and guest experience, while building a strong team and delivering exceptional hospitality.

You’ll coach and develop managers, manage private events, and maintain operational excellence across high-volume service. Independence with collaboration and a focus on people are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience, including GM or senior leadership.
• Strong mentorship and staff development abilities.
• Deep understanding of hospitality and the guest experience.
• Ability to make autonomous decisions and delegate when needed.
• Experience managing private events and high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation of the restaurant and drive service, staffing, guest experience, and financial results.
• Lead from the floor, be visible during service, and coordinate across teams.
• Create exceptional guest experiences and teach hospitality standards to the team.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing staff.
• Develop managers and future leaders with meaningful feedback.
• Plan and execute private events alongside regular operations.
• Forecast staffing, address challenges, and ensure smooth service.
• Maintain high standards while supporting the team and stepping in as needed.
• Build a positive, accountable culture and communicate with PHG leadership.
• Manage business metrics, labor, costs, inventory, and vendor relations.
