Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner specialized in Geriatrics to provide comprehensive care in Tampa, FL. The APRN/PA will deliver nursing and medical services, working both autonomously and with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and manage geriatric health concerns.

Qualifications

Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
Applicants with experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, sub-acute or geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases.
Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems.
Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies.
