Job summary

Spectrum Medical Partners seeks a dedicated PMHNP to join our physician-led team in the Tampa area. You will provide psychiatric care across multiple skilled nursing facilities, with autonomy andGrowth and supportive supervision.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care and collaborative practice with facility staff. The position requires Florida APRN licensure, PMHNP certification, DEA license, and post-acute care experience.

Qualifications

Active State of Florida APRN license in good standing.
National Board Certification as PMHNP.
DEA license required.
Post-acute care experience required.
1 year of psychiatric experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and facility staff.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
Additional duties as assigned.
