Job summary

Aurora Innovation Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking a Fleet Operations Technician to maintain our fleet vehicles, perform routine maintenance and complex repairs, and collaborate with hardware and software teams.

You will document findings, take ownership of data, and help improve workshop standards while ensuring safety and quality across shifts. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3–6 years OEM Technician experience.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, test-plans, and vehicle upgrades with Vehicle Operations, Software, and Hardware.
• Complete routine OEM maintenance and complex mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Document findings through processes and systems.
• Provide feedback and help improve workshop standards and processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and coordinate across teams.
• Travel as needed to support operations.
