Job summary

InDepth Engineering Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician with strong automotive electrical diagnostics to support our corporate fleet operations in Auburn Hills. The role is hands-on, detail-oriented and requires collaboration with Engineering teams to diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, read wiring diagrams, document findings, and contribute to safety and quality procedures while supporting testing and special projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as automotive technician or diagnostic technician.
• Strong hands-on electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and service procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform advanced electrical diagnostics using scan tools, multimeters, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot wiring, sensors, modules/ECUs, communication networks, and electrical faults.
• Diagnose and resolve DTCs, intermittent electrical issues, and vehicle quality concerns.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with Engineering to identify root causes of vehicle quality and performance issues.
• Support vehicle testing, data collection, validation, and special engineering projects.
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs, and technical recommendations.
