Job summary

Wayve in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Fleet Service and Maintenance Technician to keep our autonomous vehicle fleet safe, reliable and ready for testing and demonstrations. This hands-on role requires solid mechanical knowledge and experience with diagnostic systems, and reports to the Fleet Service Manager.

You will work with engineers, drivers and operations teams to maintain high uptime, perform scheduled servicing, document faults, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in automotive servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician in fleet or automotive servicing.
• Proficient with OEM or third-party diagnostic equipment.
• Familiar with OEM repair manuals and workshop safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance per guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ensure vehicle readiness for demonstrations and testing.
• Document faults and parts used in digital tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and drivers to resolve issues.
• Maintain workshop safety and regulatory compliance.
