Job summary
truckingpeople is hiring for a Fleet Tech Support Specialist in Austin, TX. This on-site, computer-based role focuses on remotely monitoring autonomous vehicles, reviewing camera feeds, and providing timely support to keep fleet operations safe and efficient.
You will work in shifts (1st or 2nd) with rotating weekends, supporting operations, engineering, and fleet teams. Familiarity with Jira/YouTrack/ServiceNow is a plus; driving not required.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in technical support, operations, dispatch, fleet operations, teleoperations, systems monitoring, or a similar environment
- Strong computer and technical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable monitoring multiple screens, camera feeds, and system information
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX and stay focused during repetitive monitoring tasks
- Experience with Jira, YouTrack, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar ticketing/operations systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor autonomous vehicles through computer-based fleet and remote-support systems
- Review camera feeds and system information to identify issues
- Provide remote operational support when vehicles encounter situations requiring assistance
- Monitor vehicle status and respond to alerts or operational events
- Document interventions and observations in real time
- Use tools like Jira, YouTrack, Notion, Google Sheets, or similar systems
- Triage incidents and participate in incident reviews and RCA
