Job summary

Wayve in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Fleet Service and Maintenance Technician to maintain the safety, performance, and readiness of our autonomous vehicle fleet. The role focuses on routine servicing, diagnostics, and timely repairs to support testing and demonstrations.

Reporting to the Fleet Service Manager, you will work with engineering, drivers and operations, using OEM documentation and modern diagnostic systems. A hands-on, safety-conscious mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in automotive servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in fleet environments.
• Strong diagnostic skills using OEM or third-party tools.
• Comfortable with maintenance documentation using digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance per guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ensure vehicle readiness for demonstrations and testing.
• Maintain workshop safety and regulatory compliance.
• Document faults and actions using digital records.
• Collaborate with engineers, drivers and operations.
