Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong backend and data-modeling skills with well-designed schemas.
• Ability to build full-stack applications with usable interfaces.
• Product sense: ship the useful version over the elegant one.
• Comfort with ambiguity, able to define and drive cross-functional work.
• Clear communication with teams outside engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the fleet system of record: data model and services for machines and deployments.
• Build applications for technicians, dispatchers and operations teams to vet machines and track inventory.
• Create services that machines phone home: identity, credentials, calibrations and configuration.
• Move petabytes of sensor data from remote sites to power ML and analytics.
• Collaborate with field staff and engineers across hardware, ML and robotics.
• Design foundational APIs used by internal teams and external partners.
• Leverage AI and agents to automate workflows and fleet operations.
