Job summary

Bedrock Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Systems Integration Engineer to lead the physical integration of sensors, compute hardware, actuators, and related subsystems onto autonomous construction machines. You will collaborate with electrical, software, manufacturing, and operations teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable mechanical designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years hardware design & integration for machinery or robotics.
• Proficient with CAD tools such as Onshape, SolidWorks, CATIA or NX.

Responsibilities

• Develop mounting brackets, enclosures and interfaces for sensors and compute units.
• Create 3D CAD models and GD&T drawings for fabrication and sourcing.
• Define routing paths for wiring, fluids and cooling in tight envelopes.
• Design seals and protective enclosures to withstand dust and moisture.
• Support prototype builds with hardware installation and validation.
• Perform first-order thermal and structural analyses with teams.
