Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in mechanical design and integration for vehicles, heavy machinery, robotics, or industrial equipment.
• Strong hands‑on CAD experience in Onshape or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop mounting brackets, enclosures, and interfaces for sensors and hardware on vehicle platforms.
• Create 3D CAD models and GD&T drawings for fabrication and sourcing.
• Define routing for wire harnesses, fluids, and cooling within tight envelopes.
• Design sealing and protective enclosures for moisture, dust, and weather exposure.
• Support prototype builds with hardware installation and validation on the shop floor.
• Perform first‑order structural/thermal analyses and collaborate with analysts.
• Coordinate with vendors to source custom components from RFQ to delivery.
• Design non‑invasive retrofit solutions for OEM donor vehicles while preserving structure.
