Job summary

Bedrock Robotics Inc. is seeking an Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to serve as the architect of the nervous system for our autonomous construction machines.

You will design robust power distribution, high-speed data links, and electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical, software, operations, and manufacturing teams. You will lead EMI/EMC mitigation, harness design, and high-speed data protocols (GMSL, Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN), while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in vehicle or heavy machinery electrical systems integration.
• Deep understanding of high-speed SerDes (GMSL/FPD-Link) and Automotive Ethernet.
• Hands-on CAN/LIN design and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical and logical integration of autonomy kit onto machine platforms with EMC and signal integrity focus.
• Design and optimize low voltage distribution, wire sizing, fusing, grounding for reliability and safety.
• Define and validate hardware-level communication for sensors and ECUs (GMSL, Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN).
• 3D CAD routing of electrical systems within complex mechanical envelopes.
• Manage harness vendors from RFQ through DFM cycles and procurement.
• Coordinate multi-phase engineering projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and CAN tools during lab/field tests.
• Develop 2D schematics and 3D wire routings for sensors, compute, and power units.
