Job summary

Brown & Brown in Carpinteria, CA is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to support producers, manage a book of business, and contribute to renewal and new business meetings. The role requires an Active P&C License, a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), and 1–3 years of experience; MS Office proficiency and strong communication are essential.

You will coordinate renewals, prepare proposals and binders, and assist with certificates and client requests while training Technical Assistants.

Qualifications

• Active P&C License required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong insurance knowledge and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned book of business in accordance with Brown & Brown policies and procedures.
• Participate in renewal processing, create renewal submissions, and coordinate the renewal workflow.
• Initiate new business, provide binding requests, and process certificates and auto IDs for clients.
• Coordinate mail processing and handle all client, company, and Producer requests.
• Train new Technical Assistants on policies and procedures.
