Job summary

Nealy Pierce, LLC is assisting a respected Mississippi health system in recruiting an accomplished Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing across a 500+ bed flagship regional hospital. This role offers true autonomy, direct executive access to the CEO and COO, and accountability for nursing strategy and results.

The CNO will oversee ~1,500+ FTEs in a complex acute care setting, shape nursing practice, and drive quality, patient experience and shared governance across the system.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of successful CNO experience in a large, complex acute care hospital.
• RN, BSN and an advanced degree required.
• Experience leading ~1,500+ nursing FTEs across a large health system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the next nursing strategic plan.
• Lead and develop an experienced nursing leadership team.
• Drive retention, engagement and staffing optimization.
