Ricardo Caballero Auto is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily operations, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure adherence to brand and company procedures. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction within a busy automotive workshop.

The ideal candidate will have a Technical Institute or Associate Degree in Automotive Mechanics and 3–5 years of leadership experience, with strong communication, planning, and mentoring abilities.

Competenze

• Requires Technical Institute or associate degree in automotive mechanics (accredited).
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar supervisory position.
• Experience leading technical staff and coordinating daily tasks.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and control operational processes.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment; PPE and 5S practices.
• Familiarity with warranty processes and diagnostics.

Mansioni

• Directly supervise workshop technical staff and assign daily tasks based on skills and availability.
• Plan and organize the next day’s work orders, monitor times and procedures.
• Audit repair progress and perform test drives as needed.
• Manage inventory, maintenance, and storage of tools and spare parts.
• Ensure safety regulations and PPE usage; promote 5S in the workshop.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and standardization of the workshop area.
• Mentor and coach staff; support professional development.
• Coordinate distributor training and ensure certifications are met.
• Evaluate productivity, efficiency, and quality; report to Service Management.
• Ensure compliance with warranty processes and proper reporting.
• Participate in planning and continuous improvement meetings; suggest best practices.
• Maintain communication with clients and staff to foster teamwork; report to Service Manager.
