Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions seeks a Component and Vehicle Weights Auditor in Auburn Hills, MI. This on-site contract role supports weight auditing from early concept through production, with emphasis on data-driven accuracy and process improvement.

Responsibilities include coordinating weight audits at multiple locations, assisting root-cause analysis for weight issues, and collaborating with Chassis Engineering and Manufacturing to refine weight estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 5+ years of automotive product development experience.
• Knowledge of the overall program development life cycle
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
• Experience analyzing data and formulating meaningful conclusions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weight audits at multiple locations with CTC weight lab personnel.
• Participate in audits at labs, assembly plants and suppliers.
• Assist in root cause analysis for weight concerns and related issues.
• Collaborate with Chassis Engineering, Weight Team and Manufacturing to implement corrective actions.
• Use statistical analysis for vehicle and component weights.
• Lead development of processes to reduce gaps between physical and virtual weights.
• Refine vehicle weight estimates based on actual weights; monitor calibration.
