Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Warranty Administrator to review and complete warranty claims, prepare and submit them to the appropriate party, and maintain accurate records. The role requires at least two years in a dealership and ASE certification or completion of a pre-employment test.

You will help maximize claim processing, support service staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position involves coordinating with warranty representatives, analyzing claim trends, and generating weekly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to confront and resolve difficult customer service situations.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Two years of experience in a automotive dealership.
• General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations.
• Must have ASE certification or successful completion of pre-employment test.

Responsibilities

• Process all warranty claims by the next business day following RO close date.
• Handle and resolve claim corrections and charge-backs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturer warranty representatives.
• Review every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility.
• Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies to maximize claim processing.
• Provide weekly claim status reports to the service manager.
• Assist service consultants and technicians with warranty questions.
• Attend warranty training courses as needed.
