Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to support dealer and consumer-facing inspections and data capture. The role emphasizes timely, accurate condition reports, using mobile devices and standard software, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all customer interactions.

You will interact with dealers and consumers as the face of ADESA and its related businesses, ensuring inspections meet defined program requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year automotive experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets the requirements.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Communicate in a professional manner with customer (dealer or consumer).
• Resolve any customer inquiries in a friendly, courteous and professional manner; advise management of all complaints or incidents.
• Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair or structural damage.
• Capture data accurately on a handheld device and upload results of the vehicle inspection.
• Submit completed condition reports using the appropriate technology provided.
