Job summary

LG Display America, Inc. is seeking a senior Automotive validation engineer to define test strategies for automotive products, identify root causes, and create tooling to improve testing efficiency.

The role requires coordinating with HW/SW teams and communicating with global customers about test environments and vehicle simulation benches. The candidate will manage test bench equipment, perform system requirement analysis, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE, ISO 17025.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent; 5 additional years favored.
• 10+ years in Automotive with validation in Quality/Engineering/Manufacturing.
• Experience with OEM or Tier-1 environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy for Automotive products based on requirements.
• Identify failures and root causes; propose fixes.
• Create scripts/tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Write validation reports, procedures, and compliance documents.
