DARCARS Toyota of Baltimore is seeking an Automotive Valet to support customer satisfaction and vehicle flow at our Baltimore dealership. You will greet customers, direct parking and assist service teams to ensure smooth vehicle movement. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and a commitment to service.

Prior detailing or manual-vehicle experience is a plus. This is a customer-facing, on-site role with potential for growth within the DARCARS

Qualifikationen

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff.

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and policy documents.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Detailing experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual vehicles is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Greets every customer with a smile and directs them to parking/retrieval locations.
• Assists with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles.
• Aids in efficient vehicle flow as service tickets are generated.
• Moves client vehicles between shop and service areas as needed.
• Provides shuttle service to customers when requested.
• Maintains cleanliness of the service area and reports safety concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

TheAutomotive Valet positionplays an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued success of our company. In this role,you areresponsible for lane management and will perform various tasks and errands.

For this role, you'll need:

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable, safe driving record
• Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
• Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
• Detailing experience is a plus
• Ability to operate manual vehicles is a plus

In this role, you'll:

• Conducts business in a professional and ethical manner
• Greets every customer with a smile
• Directs customers to their desired destinations when parking or retrieving their vehicles
• Assists with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles
• Assists with efficient vehicle flow within dealership as service tickets are generated
• Assists Advisors and Technicians by moving client vehiclesto and from the shop andanything else they may need to complete the service visit
• Provides shuttle service to customers, when requested
• Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers
• Maintains cleanliness of service area, keeping floor clean and dry, as necessary
• Responsible for garbage removal
• Cleans driveway and walkways, removing debris, ice, and snow, as necessary
• Complies with DARCARS policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
