Job summary

DARCARS of Baltimore is seeking an Automotive Valet to warmly greet customers and guide vehicles in the service and parking areas. You will assist with vehicle flow, write-ups, and shuttle duties as needed, upholding professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and acceptable, safe driving record.
• Strong communication skills with customers and DARCARS employees.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Detaling experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets every customer with a smile.
• Directs customers to their destinations when parking or retrieving their vehicles.
• Assists with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles.
• Assists with efficient vehicle flow within dealership as service tickets are generated.
• Moves client vehicles to/from shop as needed by Advisors and Technicians.
• Provides shuttle service to customers when requested.
• Reports safety concerns to management.
• Maintains cleanliness of service area and floors.
• Responsible for garbage removal.
• Cleans driveway and walkways; removes debris, ice, and snow.
• Complies with DARCARS policies and procedures.
• Assist in dealer exchanges.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintains cleanliness of service area, keeping floor clean and dry, as necessary
• Responsible for garbage removal
