About the Role

This role involves the repair, restoration, and customisation of vehicle interiors, including seats, headliners, door panels, and carpets. You will work with a variety of materials such as leather, vinyl, and fabric to ensure high-quality finishes that meet customer expectations. This is a hands‑on position for a craftsperson with a keen eye for detail and a passion for automotive interiors, contributing to the overall appeal and comfort of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair damaged upholstery, including rips, tears, burns, and stains on seats, door panels, and other interior surfaces.
• Replace worn or damaged upholstery materials with new fabric, leather, or vinyl.
• Install and fit custom upholstery, headliners, and carpet kits.
• Perform minor repairs to underlying padding and structural components of seats.
• Use various tools and techniques, including sewing machines, staple guns, and adhesive applicators.
• Consult with customers or service advisors to understand their upholstery needs and preferences.

Requirements
