Job summary

A local auto restoration shop is seeking a highly skilled auto upholstery technician to complete custom interiors. The position requires at least 5 years of experience in automotive upholstery, specifically in leather work. The ideal candidate should be able to handle tasks such as interior removal, seat rebuilds, and patterning. This role comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience with making patterns, sewing, and fabricating interiors.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Complete custom auto interiors.
• Auto interior removal, seat teardown/rebuilding, and installation.
• Convertible tops installation.
• Headliner removal and installation.
• Carpet removal and installation.
• Patterning, cutting, sewing and assembly.
• Foam/Cushion cutting and shaping.
• Estimating material for incoming jobs.
