Job summary

A local auto restoration shop is seeking a highly skilled auto upholstery technician to complete custom interiors. The position requires at least 5 years of experience in automotive upholstery, specifically in leather work. The ideal candidate should be able to handle tasks such as interior removal, seat rebuilds, and patterning. This role comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and generous PTO.

Locally owned and operated full service classic car restoration shop is looking for a highly skilled and experienced auto upholstery technician. If you are passionate about your craft and enjoy working on cool cars, then this is the job for you. The ideal candidate must be a team player and have experience in making patterns, sewing, and fabricating interiors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete custom auto interiors

Auto interior removal, seat teardown/rebuilding, and installation

Convertible tops

Headliner removal and installation

Carpet removal and installation

Patterning, cutting, sewing and assembly

Foam/Cushion cutting and shaping

Estimating material for incoming job ****s

Running Commercial Sewing Machine
