Job summary

East Coast Aircraft seeks a skilled Seamstress Upholsterer to join our on-site team in DeLand, FL. The role involves creating and repairing aircraft interior upholstery with a high level of precision. Training will be provided as needed.

You will measure, cut, and sew fabrics and leathers for seats and headliners, repair damaged upholstery, and work with the design team to deliver top-quality interiors while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of upholstery experience, preferably in aircraft interiors.
• Proficient in using sewing machines and upholstery tools/equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and safety protocols is an asset.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site position at our facility. The work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. The candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
