Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking an instructional designer to develop engaging training content across multiple business lines. The role covers online courses, facilitator materials, assessments, and integration of instructional technologies to drive learner success.

You'll analyze outcomes using pre/post measures, deliver train-the-trainer sessions, and collaborate with SMEs to maintain current content. Travel within the state and occasional out-of-state assignments may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years in service/sales/club function or related area (preferred).
• 1-3 years using instructional technologies to develop online courses for adult learning, ADDIE or Kirkpatrick model, web conferencing, surveys/polls, virtual break-out rooms.

Responsibilities

• Develops online content including outlines/scripts; tests, evaluates, and uploads content; analyzes outcomes and makes improvement recommendations.
• Creates course materials for participant and facilitator use for live training; researches content and updates training region to support effective delivery.
• Provides evaluative feedback and prepares reports on success and improvement areas for management.
• Trains employees in rollout environments; provides train-the-trainer sessions and demonstrations.
• Participates in meetings with management/SMEs to define needs and create training outlines.
• Follows project plans with deadlines and communicates progress.
• Revises content as systems and requirements update.
• Identifies emerging trends and collaborates with ACE Technology Infrastructure to stay current.
• Troubleshoots online course access and supports training-related duties.
• Proposes content and delivery methods to achieve desired outcomes.
• Makes day-to-day decisions independently, consulting senior staff for non-routine items.
