Qualifications

• Must have hands-on automotive/dealership experience in a training/technical content role.
• Proven ability to write clear, engaging technical content for technicians.
• Experience with development tools and platforms including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Cloud, Arbortext, Visio, and 3D modelling software.
• Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills.
• Passion for translating complex automotive information into effective learning experiences.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to understand product features and functionalities.
• Independently research new technologies, on-vehicle validation, and lab setup.
• Translate technical language into clear, concise learning materials.
• Stay updated on the latest technical developments and industry trends.

Job Title: Technical Training Developer

Location: Woodridge, IL

Job Type: W2 Contract

Expected hours per week: 40 hours

Schedule: Onsite

Pay Range: $38-48 an hour

We need candidates who have automotive, truck, mechanical backgrounds in the Technical Training Development Space.

Technical Training Developer

Technical Expertise

• - Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to understand product features and functionalities.
• - Independent research of new technologies, on-vehicle validation, and lab creation.
• - Translate technical language into clear and concise learning materials.
• - Stay up to date on the latest technical developments and industry trends.

Instructional Design Principles

• - Apply adult learning principles and best practices to ensure effective knowledge retention.
• - Tailor content to different technician levels and roles within the dealership.
• - Design assessments to measure learner progress and course effectiveness.

Collaboration And Communication

• - Collaborate with R&D, Service Engineering, Method Engineering, Diagnostic Development, and Electronic Service Tools.
• - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• - Provide progress updates and maintain clear documentation.
• - Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage one’s time.

Must Have

• - Previous automotive/dealership hands-on experience
• - Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging technical content.
• - Experience with development tools and platforms, including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Cloud software, Arbortext, Visio, and other 3d Modelling software.
• - Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
