Job summary

Mills Auto Group is seeking a Title Clerk for a full-time position at our Hampton, VA location. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with a willingness to learn title and registration processes for our customers.

Experience is preferred but not required; candidates should be capable of handling title work for in-state and out-of-state customers while maintaining accurate records and providing great service.

Responsibilities:

• Process title work for in state and out-of-state customers
• Organize and maintain vehicle titles/MCOs and documentation
• Maintain physical and electronic filing systems for title documents
• Update accounting schedules and reconcile accounts for title & registration
• Assist internal staff and customers with title-related inquiries/issues
• Demonstrate compliance with federal and state laws relating to titling and registration

Requirements:

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred but not required
• Basic working knowledge of title processes
• Willingness to learn and ability to be taught
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
