Ideal candidates have at least two years in automotive title processing, a strong eye for detail, and proficiency with Dealertrack or CDK. Michigan SOS regulations knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of automotive title processing or related administrative experience.
• Strong knowledge of Michigan Secretary of State title and registration regulations.
• High accuracy and attention to detail when handling legal documents.
• Proficiency with dealership management software such as Dealertrack or CDK.

Responsibilities

• Process and finalize all vehicle title and registration paperwork for new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records for all vehicle transactions to ensure state compliance.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the sales and accounting departments regarding title status updates.
• Resolve any documentation discrepancies with customers or lenders promptly to prevent delays.
• Issue and verify temporary registrations and license plates for customers picking up their vehicles.
• Prepare and submit all necessary tax and title documents to the appropriate state agencies.
