• Experience Required:Proven experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or in a similar automotive administrative role is required.
• Technical Proficiency:Proficiency in dealership management software, DMV portals, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to Detail:Exceptional accuracy in data entry and the ability to audit complex legal paperwork.
• Problem-Solving:Ability to identify issues in documentation and proactively find solutions.
• Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist customers and work with various departments.
• Ethical Judgment:A high degree of integrity when handling confidential customer and financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Title Processing:Meticulously prepare and process vehicle titles, registrations, and lien releases to ensure seamless ownership transfers.
• Regulatory Compliance:Maintain a thorough understanding of Ohio state DMV regulations and federal laws to ensure all transactions meet legal standards.
• Documentation:Verify VIN numbers, odometer readings, and supporting legal documentation for accuracy, resolving discrepancies quickly.
• Liaison Duties:Act as a point of contact between the dealership, customers, financial institutions, and state DMV offices.
• Record Keeping:Maintain detailed, organized records of all title and registration transactions in our dealership management software.

The Ron Marhofer Auto Family consists of seven (7) distinct manufacturer brands (Chevrolet, GMC, Hyundai CF, Hyundai GR, Genesis, Nissan, Buick, across five (5) locations in Northern Ohio that include new and used car sales, and a full-scale parts department, service, and collision centers. We serve over 2000 Guests monthly in our sales and service departments. And are listed in the top 100 dealerships in the nation for both new and used vehicle sales.
