Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company operates Break Time stores in Missouri and runs a Big O Tires franchise. This role involves delivering customer service and sales in a fast-paced automotive retail environment, educating customers, and promoting maintenance and tire services.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and office productivity machines.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Sales abilities.
• Basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages.
• Valid driver’s license
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and greet customers promptly.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per policy.
• Inspect vehicles and discuss maintenance needs with customers and management.
• Promote sales through explaining benefits, promotions and suggestive selling.
• Prepare sales documentation such as warranties and service agreements.
• Conduct accurate sales transactions and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assist store manager in meeting company expectations and profitability.
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks, inventory and merchandising.
