Magna Electronics seeks a Test Engineer to maintain and develop In-Circuit Test programs and board/device programmers. You will collaborate with test technicians, engineers, and manufacturing to ensure robust testing strategies for new products and ongoing support for production lines.

Responsibilities include failure analysis, test data reporting, and ensuring testability in circuit designs, with occasional travel and a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Computing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a related role preferred.
• Automotive/manufacturing background with electronics preferred.
• Knowledge of cyber security preferred.
• Experience with analog/digital testing.
• Familiarity with FPY, FMEA, DFMEA is a plus.
• Programming knowledge (C#, Python, VB) is a plus.
• Strong initiative and ability to learn new processes.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and develop In-Circuit Test programs, Flying Probe, and board/device level programmers.
• Provide training and support to test technicians and operators.
• Collaborate with engineering on test strategies for new products.
• Assist with failure analysis and test data reporting.
• Review circuit designs for testability and test equipment performance.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities and documentation.
